Portraiture reveals the spirit of the living. Fine art reveals the spirit of the form and sometimes, the spirit of the times.
This is my laboratory. Here, I step away from the commission to explore the archetypes, objects, and urgent truths that demand to be seen. Whether working in total darkness to sculpt light onto a still life, or arranging a portrait to confront a societal silence, the method remains the same: slow, manual, and deeply intentional.
These series are not about aesthetics. They are about recognition. They are for the viewer who wants to linger, to feel the weight of a glance, or to see the sacred in the everyday. No AI. No automation. Just the human hand, shaping light to reveal what is already there.

An Ongoing Journey | Sculpting in Darkness: A slow, meditative practice of revealing the hidden spirit in objects and the poetry of unravelling. [Coming Soon]

Ritual | Presence: A collection of fine art pieces created specifically for sacred spaces. [View the Collection & Availability]

Memorial | Urgent Truth: A visual intervention responding to the crisis of gendered violence in Australia. [View Series]

Archetype | Untamed: An ongoing exploration of the wild, unassimilated feminine. These images strip away the polite mask to reveal the fierce, ancient energy of Lilith - unapologetic, raw, and wholly herself. For those who know that belonging does not require fitting in. [View Series]

Sensation | Detail: A study of the mouth as a landscape. Close-up explorations of taste, desire, and expression, where a single gesture holds more narrative than a full portrait. A reminder that truth often lives in the smallest details. [View Series]

Transition | Totems: Adolescence is not a phase to be survived; it is a sacred, potent time of becoming. These portraits arrange the complex emotional landscape of the "in-between" years into totem poles of feeling -honouring the intensity, the awkwardness, and the beauty of growing up. [View Series]
All works on this page are hand-finished in the Ipswich studio. Prints are archival, embossed, and signed. Each image is built layer by layer, honoring the slow craft of making. No AI generation is used in any part of this process.
These personal explorations inform every commissioned portrait I create. If you are ready to be seen with this same depth and intention, let’s talk about your own portrait session.
