While I believe we need anchors to who we are and how we show up, I also believe we need ties to who we are becoming.
People of Ipswich is the anchor. It grounds us in the present moment, in our shared streets, capturing the 200 faces that make this city what it is right now. It is a act of civic belonging – steady, collective, and immediate.
The Common Thread is the feminine vision. It reaches toward the version of ourselves we glimpse when we close our eyes. It is an atlas of female life, unguarded and raw, tracing the universal truths of transition and identity that bind us across time.
One keeps us steady. The other keeps us moving.
My books are open to create this type of art. For humans who understand that shedding and forming are not phases, but practices. For those who know that grounding without vision becomes stagnation, and vision without grounding becomes fantasy.
